It’s happening, Frederick! We’ve made an additional investment in our business! We have aligned with AEROLASE and are bringing on The Best Laser on the market. And it’s true, there are terrible things happening in the world. But not here. Not in our space. Our (my) experience of life, currently, is warm and fuzzy. The team is vibing high, our books are steady, clients are happy and feeling good when they’re here… We’re like this little bubble of kindness & healing. It’s awesome to witness and be part of. Thank you for being part of it, too. We’ve got to have these oasis’s (oasisi?) what is the duplicate of oasis? There’s a feeling of personal responsibility to be an oasis for people. We all need sanctuary space…. health, wellness & beauty space… space to breathe…. space to just BE…. Whether it’s a church, or your most comfortable couch, or our Spa, I hope you are taking time to just BE. Turn the news off. <3 We can’t fix everything in this world – but we CAN take care of ourselves, our mindset, and our beautiful bodies. Ok ok – I’ll stop waxing poetic here now. Back to business. We had an awesome river cleanup last month! Friends of The Fox River hosted over 200 events! woot woot! I hosted a few classes – Sports Massage & Stretching + CBD Massage & Hemp 101 We celebrated some business community anniversaries – Cheers to Butcher on the Block for 24 years and Cheers to Everything Floral for 20 years! We participated in the “Where Wellness Blooms Retreat” at Brix on the Fox with Pamela & Amber giving mini facials and energy work. Had a nice “Hormone Harmony” workshop in the Salt Room – doing it again soon! Please join me in congratulating Theresa, LMT on accepting her new position as Assistant Manager! As our company has grown, we needed a dedicated liaison between our licensed pro’s and admin/mgmt. It’s a lot to manage training schedules, staff concerns, protocol questions, and room challenges. #SpaLife As JoyAnn has leaned more into marketing and medical esthetics (wink wink #LASER) we needed to widen the org chart and bring someone up into Leadership with us! The staff loves her, she’s awesome with computers, and is a bomb ass massage therapist. Perfect blend of skills for this position. She joins McKenna, Lead Receptionist and Leslie, Clinic Manager in a position that not only adds value to our staff, but allows her to grow into her passion for creating structure for licensed pro’s to give the best care. I think it’s great that we’re developing an additional resource to support our fabulous massage therapists and estheticians… AND I’m so proud it was one of our current employees who threw her hat into the ring when the job opening was posted!
