Yearly Membership
Will I Get The Membership Price On The Day I Enroll?
Yes. When you pay the $100 annual membership fee your service will automatically be reduced.
CAN I GIVE A MEMBERSHIP AS A GIFT?
Yes. You may purchase a gift card or certificate for a Fox River Spa membership.
WHAT IF MY GIFT RECIPIENT DOESN’T WANT TO REDEEM THE CARD FOR A MEMBERSHIP?
Not a problem! All gift cards and certificates can be redeemed for the dollar amount on the card/certificate and applied towards any service or retail product.
WHAT IF I DECIDE I NO LONGER WANT TO BE A MEMBER. CAN I GET A REFUND?
No. Once you have received a service at the member price you are not eligible to receive a refund.
IF I BRING GUESTS WITH ME FOR MASSAGES OR FACIALS, CAN I PAY FOR THEIRS AT THE MEMBERSHIP PRICE?
No. Membership prices apply to Members only.
WILL MY MEMBERSHIP RENEW AUTOMATICALLY?
Yes, but we will remind you that your renewal is coming up and give you a chance to confirm or cancel before it is automatically processed.

MASSAGE ETIQUETTE
We are licensed professionals and adhere to the highest standard of massage therapy. If you’re new to massage, please know that we will always keep you modestly draped, and the session will be tailored to you and your body. Pressure, areas of focus, music, and lighting are all customizable. Just tell us what you’d like!
You can undress to your comfort level – naked is fine, underwear is fine, fully clothed is fine – we will do great work either way. In the event that you need gluteus or advanced hip work, we may undrape your gluteus muscle area with your permission, but will always keep private areas private. If you want stretching included in your session or need any technique adjustments during session – just tell us! “Hate thumb work, love forearms” “Prefer quiet sessions, really need to zone out” “Don’t touch my face, work extra on my back” All good things.
And, ridiculous that we have to put this in our policies, but please be advised, in case you couldn’t tell, we are licensed and professional massage therapists. In the event that a potential client misunderstands what being a licensed professional means and solicits illegal activity or harasses our team, we will escort you off the property and file a police report. Creepers be warned.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS & CELL PHONE USE
Please leave all jewelry and valuable items at home. Fox River Spa is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
FOR Spa ONLY: We kindly ask that you turn your cell phones and pagers to vibrate upon arrival and to remember to speak in your “Spa voice” once you enter the Spa. Please inform your therapist should you need to make a phone call so that you may do so without disturbing other Spa guests. Cell phone use may affect the length of your Spa services.
CHECK-IN & LATE ARRIVALS
We ask that you please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. However, the length of service may be adjusted so as to not interrupt the scheduled appointments of other guests. Full price of scheduled services will apply, so please plan accordingly. Of course beyond the check in policies we invite all our guest receiving services to make full use of our relaxing environment here Fox River Spa & Salon. Come early, stay late, bring a book, relax and enjoy a cup of complimentary tea, coffee, or cocoa available in our relaxation area. Couples and Spa parties are more than welcome to bring wine and we will provide the glasses.
Please keep in mind that arriving late for a service may require us to shorten the length of the treatment, with full charges applied, so as not to inconvenience other guests. We regret that late arrivals cannot receive extension of scheduled appointments, and we may need to cancel a service that cannot be completed within shortened time due to late arrival. We recommend arriving a few minutes early for Spa services to use the restroom and fill out paperwork if needed.

DO I GET NAKED? WHAT’S THE RULES HERE?
You can undress to your comfort level. Naked is fine. Undergarments are fine. Clothing is fine. We will always keep you modestly draped. Our therapists will do a consultation first, then give you privacy to undress to your comfort level and get on the table.
WHAT IS DEEP TISSUE? HOW DO I KNOW WHAT TO REQUEST?
Our standard massage therapy service is called “Therapeutic Fusion”, and it can be any pressure. Our therapists will customize and tailor the session just for you and find just the right flow. Our services are designed to be both therapeutic and relaxing. You can request pressure and techniques that you prefer. You can also let our highly skilled therapists develop a protocol based on their training and intuition. Every therapist is different, and no 2 sessions are exactly the same. Set your intention, share your goals, and allow us to create the best massage experience of your life.
Eyelash Lifts, Tints, & Brows
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF LASH ENHANCEMENTS?
1. Lash Extensions – Individually applied extensions to your lashes. Different lengths, curls, and thicknesses available. Initial set then fills every 2-3 weeks.
2. Lash Lift & Tint – A nice alternative to lash extensions. Our Estheticians use a technique combining a lifting lotion and silicone rods to lift your natural eyelashes, making them look longer and fuller. Zero aftercare and lasts about 6-8 weeks.

Our Estheticians use a technique combining a lifting lotion and silicone rods to lift your natural eyelashes, making them look longer and fuller. Lash lift is a fantastic alternative to eyelash extensions and there’s virtually no aftercare required! Just wake up and get going with beautiful lashes.
WHAT IS HENNA BROW TINTING?
Get all-natural eyebrow color and definition with our brow henna. The unique henna formula provides hair color for up to six weeks and provides a tattooing effect for up to 2 weeks. This is perfect for the client that has Sparse hair, is over-plucked, or recovering from a bad waxing experience. (Hopefully not here!) 🙂
*Henna is a natural based eyebrow tint for hair skin stain results are not guaranteed on all skin types. Results can also vary from 2 -14 days depending on skin type and color used.
WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading is a technique where fine lines are scratched into the surface of the skin, and pigment embedded. The strokes accurately replicate hair (as in a brow or hairline). Results can last from six to 18 months, depending on a variety of factors such as color of pigment, skin type, and lifestyle.
WHAT IS PERMANENT MAKEUP?
Permanent makeup are treatments that replicate perfectly applied conventional makeup, most frequently on the brows, lash line, lips, and hairline. This is done by inserting cosmetic pigments into the dermis layer of the skin. Also known as Microblading, Micro-Pigmentation, Brow Embroidery, and Cosmetic Tattooing.
HOW LONG DOES THE RESULT LAST?
Results depend on healing and skin type. For brows, it can be 1 to 3 years. For lips, one to two years. For eyeliner, three to five years. Hair color, skin type, after-care, and lifestyle also affect longevity of the results. Occasional touch-ups are a way to refresh the results. Done correctly, the treatments do not change color and fade naturally away with time. For areas such as brows, this allows future flexibility with shape, as standards of beauty change. Please note even if not visible to the eye, there will always be vestigial pigment permanently embedded in the skin.
IS IT PAINFUL?
We use effective numbing creams that are FDA approved. On a scale of 1 to 10 with “1” being no discomfort, clients often experience between a 2 and 3 with the Bespoke Brow treatment. Other factors such as menstrual cycles also affect level of sensitivity.
IS IT SAFE?
All our pigments are cosmetic grade, meaning that they are sterilized and purified for cosmetic use. The ingredients used have been approved by the FDA for cosmetic use. Be wary of products that have not met safety standards, including those that contain “vegetable dyes” that are unstable and may change color after time. In addition, all our tools are single-use and discarded after the treatment. Our specialists are highly trained and experienced professionals.
WHAT IS A MICROBLADED BROW?
It is our signature treatment, where we create your brow strand-by-strand using lifelike strokes applied directly onto the skin, using a technique called Microblading. The treatment replaces eyebrow pencils, and assures perfectly shaped and balanced brows all-day, everyday. The Microbladed Brow lasts up to 18 months, fading gradually without any discoloration.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A BROW CONSULTATION?
Brow hair grade and color is analyzed, and the desired shaper is drawn on with a specialized pencil. We will draw each strand to create a symmetrical, natural-looking brow that is custom-made for your bone structure, giving you the chance to see how dramatically new brows change your face. Once you are satisfied with the shape and thickness, the therapist consults with you on color— we mix and match with the hue to ensure we get a shade that is closest to your natural hair color . We will also discuss the procedure, the after-care, how long it takes the skin to heal, and how to ensure the best results. Consultations at EverTrue are always free with no obligation to proceed with the treatment.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A BROW TREATMENT?
The technician will create your brow by hand, strand by strand. A topical numbing cream is applied that stays on for about 20 minutes, and then a special tool is used to make small, hair-shaped incisions in the skin underneath the brow– this technique is also known as Microblading. The shallow cuts are filled with highest-grade pharmaceutical pigments selected to match or darken arches. The treatment takes about two hours, with enough time to assess each step of the way.
WHAT IS THE RECOVERY TIME?
There is no downtime, however the brow will take about one week to fully heal. The brow will soften in color by up to 40-50%. During this period, after-care procedures should be carefully followed.
WHAT IS THE PERFECTING SESSION?
The Perfecting Session, done within two months of the initial treatment, is extremely important to ensure perfect results. We use this session to set the shape and color, and make any small adjustments if needed.
SHOULD I DO COSMETIC INJECTIONS BEFORE OR AFTER MICROBLADING?
Cosmetic injections should be done after Microblading. Your doctor will be able to determine where to place injections without altering the brow position. Should you decide to cease treatments, brows will settle at original balanced position.
CAN I HAVE A CHEMICAL PEEL OR LASER TREATMENT BEFORE MICROBLADING?
Please avoid chemical peels or laser treatments at least four weeks before Microblading. These treatments can make your skin thinner and more sensitive, resulting in more bleeding which can affect color retention. Wait four weeks after Microblading before doing chemical peels and laser treatments to allow the brow to fully heal.
SHOULD I TINT MY EYEBROWS BEFORE MICROBLADING?
This is not necessary. Your brow will also be darker than usual immediately after the treatment.
SHOULD I COLOR MY HAIR BEFORE MICROBLADING?
Yes, so we can match your brow to your hair color. However it is important that you let your Specialist know your original/ true hair color, as this information and your skin tone, will help them create the brow color that is the best match.
SHOULD I SHAPE MY BROWS BEFORE MICROBLADING?
Brow shaping is part of our treatment. When you go for brow shaping maintenance after Microblading, request that your esthetician follow your existing brow shape.
CAN I HAVE A FACIAL BEFORE MICROBLADING?
Please avoid facials at least two weeks before Microblading. Some intensive facial treatments can make your skin thinner and more sensitive, resulting in more bleeding which can affect color retention. Wait two weeks after Microblading before doing facials, to allow the brow to fully heal.
CAN I GO TANNING BEFORE MICROBLADING?
Yes, but please let your Specialist know your original/ true skin color (e.g. show them a picture, or patch of skin that is not tanned), as we will need this information to create the color that is the best match, and ensure results look natural after your tan fades.
I AM PLANNING TO HAVE BROW IMPLANTS IN ADDITION TO MICROBLADING, WHEN SHOULD I DO THIS?
Do the brow implants first, and then Microblading. We will perfect the brow shape.
