He is a super-nerd about how the body works, loves educating and sharing knowledge with his patients, and brings 11 years experience to the clinic. He has additional certifications in Webster technique specific for prenatal guests, advanced training for arthritis and mobility issues. His passion for helping a body find internal and pain free balance is evident the first time you consult with him.

Meet Dr. Steve

By combining skilled hands-on-techniques, state of the art therapeutic procedures and providing sincere and thoughtful care, Dr. Steve is able to help patients on all types of levels.

Dr. Steve Stachura grew up in Lisle, IL and attended National University of Health Sciences in Lombard. He joined the company in July 2020 after the Covid shutdown and helped design the new chiropractic business flow to elevate the level of care and results for our community.

He has been helping people get free from pain using Chiropractic Medicine for over 7 years before joining Fox River MedSpa. He takes a broad holistic approach to the body, and believes spinal health is one of the critical pillars of wellness. Healthy nerve pathways and great range of motion make a difference in the quality of life, especially as we age.

Dr. Steve uses a variety of adjustment techniques to accommodate patient needs and is experienced working with all levels of health. Adjustments can be as gentle or strong as appropriate. He is certified in the Webster Technique which caters to women experiencing discomfort during pregnancy. He is also certified in Acupuncture which has been shown to be extremely effective in treating a wide range of disorders and symptoms.

He is in network with most insurance companies including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United Healthcare, Medicare, and more.

Initial consultations include exam, x-rays if needed, and your first adjustment. We will bill your insurance as appropriate, depending on your policy’s coverage, and have affordable cash pay packages for those without coverage.

Our MedSpa offers many different types of massage, non-invasive alternative therapy, and chiropractic care. Dr. Steve’s care team – Leslie & Julie – have a wide range of skills and hands-on support to offer you and your body.

Experience a healing sequence of therapies that can include things like acupuncture, cupping, ultrasound, electric stim, massage, stretching, and spinal adjustment. We also offer nutrition counseling, one-on-one health coaching, and pharmaceutical grade supplements. All in conjunction with great chiropractic adjustments, we’ll get you feeling better, quickly!

Therapeutic Ultrasound

Therapeutic ultrasound has been used in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions for years. It penetrates deep into the muscle tissue of the problem areas and promotes tissue healing, reduces inflammation, and helps in managing pain.

Electrotherapy

Electrotherapy has been clinically shown to be effective in decreasing inflammation, increasing range of motion, decreasing muscle Spasms, and managing pain.

Full Spine Adjustment

When the spine is aligned properly, the energy from brain and body flows naturally without any blockages or alterations. Having proper alignment goes beyond maintaining a good posture — it can also help prevent long-term pain. Misalignment may impair your range of motion, and severe issues can affect your quality of life.

ArthroStim

Don’t like the “cracking” sound? An ArthroStim is an instrument that is used as a less forceful alternative to manual adjustment. This tool is dailed in just for you. It can be adjusted to deliver anywhere from 4 ounces to 40 pounds of force. There’s more than one way to adjust a spine!

Acupuncture

Acupuncture works by stimulating nerves with fine needles, which actively work to balance the normal flow of energy throughout the nervous system. Energy imbalances can be a result of trauma, disease, inflammation, mental stress, or any given combination. It has also been proven to be effective for general relaxation, disease prevention, and stress reduction.

Exercise Rehabilitation

Weak muscles, improper firing patterns, and asymmetrical imbalances in muscle are quite common. These can come about from poor posture, injury, and compensation from underlying issues.

  I have gone to Fox River a number of times for massages and experienced a few different massage therapists, all of whom have been top notch.  Recently I woke up with a major pain in my back, and sought a massage same day to try and work out the pain.  Scott was available later that day!  He was very knowledgeable listened to what I was experiencing and proceeded to work out the pain.  At the end of the session he also suggested/demonstrated a number of stretches that will help with the tightness, one of these stretches did the trick and combined with the massage I felt much better.
