About the Educator:

Julie Bevel, NCB# 4451177-09 first began teaching as Lead Therapist for 5 Diamond Bellagio Spa & Salon in Las Vegas, NV in 2006. After 7 years as their #1 trainer and educator, she decided to make the entrepreneurial leap and bought a Spa in the Chicago suburbs. Now with 2 locations, 18 years of industry experience, and a passion for helping therapists be awesome, she is teaching locally for Illinois massage therapists needing to renew their license and freshen up on the very timely subject of ethics.

Her passion for customer service, ethics, and appropriate use of techniques is evident to anyone who attends her classes. She uses a 3 prong approach to learning, incorporating a combination of lecture, demo, and role-playing to make sure everyone in the class gets individual attention and an opportunity to use the information presented.

There’s many different styles of massage and approaches to the body, as well as different paths within the industry. Julie makes sure everyone has a chance to share their experiences and challenges in ethics and customer service, as everyone has something to “bring to the table” during a live class. She believes collaboration is a great way to raise the collective knowledge base of local therapists.

She also has proven business building success, especially through her award winning and profitable Spas with 35 employees. Her level of customer service and team-building skills are second to none. Allow Julie to share her “hot tips” as well as business savvy on how massage therapists can create an amazing practice during the Spa Customer Service and Advanced Aromatherapy.

You can register online at or call 224-241-8489. Payment is required at time of registration. Refunds are allowed if cancelled within 2 weeks of class.
