Hello there << Test First Name >>! Happy early Thanksgiving! I’m so grateful to be doing this Spa thing here with you! It’s been a fun Fall, continuing to build our lovely community of people who actually care, and I’m glad you’re part of it! Onto our busy End-Of-Year Holiday season!
Quickie housekeeping/sales note (for people like you who actually read my newsletter LOL): We hope to see you on Black Friday or at our Spa Social on Sat Dec 8th for the best deals of the year! However, if you can’t make it in on either of those days, but you’re a Member and want to take advantage of the deals – shoot me an email or give us a call and we’ll take care of your transaction over the phone. There’s perks to being a reader.
I sincerely hope your week is shaping up nicely as we officially head into holiday season. It’s a big part of our company’s bottom line, and this is our 6th one at Carpentersville and 2nd one at Algonquin. We’ve got some big goals – & the team is pulling together having fun making them happen. We had our first ever wine and paint night @ U-Paint-2-Create-It Ceramics (highly recommend!) and it was a blast! Followed by our new “Birthday Breakfast” tradition @ Lumes Pancake house (Thank you Marianne for the inspiration!) our company culture is really starting to become this cohesive “thing” that’s beyond just one person. #gratitude We save our “Employee Party” for February, after things die down post-Valentine’s day. LOL We see enough of each other for the next 45 days. 😉
So today is the second official day of Thanksgiving break, which for me personally means parent-teacher conferences, the basement already almost completely thrashed, and lots of baking and organizing. In Spa world, it means being fully staffed for packages, self-care, and grooming, with lots of training at the front desk. We have tons of same day appointments and schedule adjustments as Holidays make things flex. We’ve noticed this trend through the years. The schedule frees up, something shifts, and suddenly you have a gap in your day that can be filled with self-care. Yay.
So as I’m working with and training our new crew, we’ve been talking a lot about the level of higher consciousness connection available to us all. That is what trained Spa professionals get paid to create during our sessions. Beautiful things happen during an amazing service. Bliss. Peace. Positivity. Hope. Healing. The work we do IS an act of love… for you as a person, and for humanity. I hope you take some time for yourself as you express love in your own way this season. I’ve recruited some amazing experienced talent to help accommodate last minute requests and later availability – women with 10, 15, 20 years experience in their craft, and I’ve got a New Hire in almost every position ready to build their book of business this season.
Please join me in welcoming Beth – LMT C’Ville, Stacy – Esti Algonquin, Candy – Nail Artist Algonquin, & Kasumi – LMT Algonquin!
SO, as we move forward in our quest to connect on a professional and helpful way, let me share our Holiday specials and then get back to work! 🙂 #grind #teamnodaysoff #tistheseason
Other than that, I hope everyone has a fantastic next couple of weeks and keeps on being good to yourself and to others. Much love for life!
